Third project meeting

From 21 June to 25 June the second visit of the partner town of Hoorn was realised.  A group of teachers from Příbram visited the educational institutions in Hoorn where they spent two mornings to observe  the methods of Dutch teachers, the method of job-shadowing was used to learn about the used methodology and pedagogical principles. On Wednesday afternoon a common workshop related to Artephiletics was organised. Artephiletics is a modern educational approach concentrating on development of communication, reflection and critical thinking connected with active learning and experiences though artistic activities. The children perform their experiences through an art product (painting, music, drama, etc.) Finally, they discuss about their feelings in a group. The workshop was led by Ms Slavikova, who is an expert in this branch. The aim of this workshop was to present this method and practical examples, which were carried out in kindergartens during the project.  Besides that the partial results of our project on both sides were presented. Our project is successfully realised since September 2014 and the cooperation, which was established during the first project year seems to be very beneficial. The cooperation works very well on national as well as international level and all partners enriched their education by intercultural elements. In the next two years, the main target is compiling of our final product - a methodical reference book reflecting the similarities and differences in customs and traditions in both partner countries.
